This Friday evening, join us for a special Kabbalat Shabbat as we celebrate inclusion and awareness in honor of National Coming Out Day and the LGBTQ+ community. We'll talk about Parshat Lekh Lekha - from Abraham to gender and sexual identity, the call goes forth to us from God to "come out" from the identity you get to the one you embrace.
On Friday evening, October 22nd, join student Rabbi David Goodman and your Nafshenu community for a delicious Shabbat dinner, drink of choice and lively discussion centered around the Torah portion of the week - Vayeira. We’ll learn of Sodom and Gomorroah, two biblical cities that are destroyed by God in the book of Genesis. What can their story teach us about our our own struggles with a changing climate in the modern era?
